Sports managers will find in this book a theoretical-practical manual that offers a conceptualisation of Corporate Social Responsibility in an accessible and contextualised way in the sports events sector. Along these lines, and based on the authors' professional and research experience in this sector, a model for the implementation of social responsibility actions in smaller sporting events as an instrument for sustainable local development and territorial structuring is presented. Furthermore, attention is focused on the identification of the different interest groups that are affected or could be affected by the holding of an event, with special emphasis on residents. In short, the aim is to offer a tool with which to achieve, in an appropriate manner, a socially responsible sporting event.
